The
"Periscope" is a model considered by many experts as one
of the most beautiful race cars ever built. Despite it's short racing
history it made a remarkable debut victory at the Fléron
Hill Climb, 1967 in Belgium as well as 5th place in the 1000 Kilometers
of Nürburgring in 1967, being the only vehicle capable of following
the Porsche 910, and staying ahead of a competitive Ford GT40.
This model is designed to satisfy the most discerning of collectors,
but we did not want it to sit next to the track. It includes a Power
Slot chassis and "anglewinder" motor mounted in a pod.
The chassis and motor are easily upgraded and modified to suite
most racing needs. |
