Revell Rumours...
Picked up some information from the US about potential new models from Revell-Monogram in 2006. What we can expect are:
The Cooper Ford, with expected release in July
The Porsche 904, with expected release in August
The Chaparral 2D, part with expected release in October
Also there are rumoured mutterings about a Ferrari being released in September if the relevant licensing agreements can be reached.
I want to see more of their stunning Jaguar E-Types and I'm sure my wishes will be met in 2006.

A new Manafacturer?...
First of all a new manufacturer seems like it is emerging from the hot bed of slot cars that is Spain: Sloter. They will launch with two Ferraris 312PB in 2006. The liveries will be based on the cars that competed in the 1972 Daytona race as driven by Jacky Ickx and Ronnie Peterson.
The photo reminds me of the Vanquish MG models - I might be reading too much in to it but maybe Sloter are the phoenx to rise from the ashes of Vanquish MG. If so lets hope they learnt from their mistakes.

Another
BMW 328...
Slot Classic produce much sought after models with
the latest being the highly desirable Ferrari 250SWB.
Although the models are not cheap they are an almost
cert for rising in value. They have been producing
models for 10 years and to celebrate this landmark
they are releasing a very special box set.
The box set includes the BMW 328 1939 Le Mans No.27
car as driven by Ralph Roese and Paul Heinemann,
a drawing made by the artist Diego Serrano and a
Le Mans diorama for the car to sit on. The release
also comes with a hardcover book with more than
140 pages and 300 pictures written by the great
Slot Classic enthusiast, Uwe Kitza.
The book is a guide for the collector of Slot Classic,
including more than 120 different models, variations,
specials and pre-series cars, and also documents
the complete story of Slot Classic:
